John Danahy

John Danahy has experience in GIS, information management, remote sensing, and remotely piloted aircraft systems (drones). He specializes in applying RPAS data capture across disciplines and industries to find new and innovative solutions for clients. This includes using LiDAR, photogrammetry, and multispectral data to deliver accurate, reliable, and highly detailed spatial information. He leads both technical and management aspects of projects, ensuring high-quality results. John’s project work has spanned across a rage of industries including forestry, oil and gas, agriculture, and emergency management, both domestically and internationally. John holds a BA in Geography, a MSc in Forestry, and is a registered RPAS flight reviewer.

John has a passion for drones, aerial imaging, and sci-fi movies. A Mid-Islander, he's not afraid of a little snow (or a lot of snow) and he'll drive for hours in any weather. John has always been fascinated by space and would still like to be an astronaut when he grows up.
